William Huiras, DDS
Being a dentist is a truly rewarding profession, and I have fun coming to work each and every day! Each patient is different and unique, and I enjoy learning about their needs. I want to make everyone feel completely comfortable in my office, and always strive to provide the most advanced and effective dental services available. Our practice is known for being honest and professional, and my staff and I treat each patient as we would want to be treated; with gentle care and compassion.
Education and Continuing Education
Prior to becoming a dentist, I attained my Undergraduate Education at Cal Poly San Luis Obispo, and completed Dental School at the University of California at San Francisco. Since my graduation in 1992, I have continued my education through study clubs and professional associations. I am an active member of the Seattle Study Club, Pride Institute, Spear Institute, ADA, CDA, and the Academy of General Dentistry.
My continuing education helps me stay abreast of the latest techniques and treatments, which I am always looking to incorporate into my practice. My patients benefit from my lifelong learning by receiving the most comfortable and efficient care that modern dentistry can provide. I participate in continuing education because I enjoy learning and I take pride in being one of the best clinicians in the area.

I have been practicing dentistry since 1992, and enjoy serving the wonderful people and families of the Lodi area.
I am committed to providing the best possible dental care and treatment options available, but I only offer treatment options that are proven effective and efficient. Every patient of mine has a different oral health plan that is specific to their needs and goals, and I take the time to discuss what their expectations are, and what we can do to help their dental health and overall health.
My job is all about my patients. I am lucky to have daily opportunities to build and enjoy friendships with people from all ages and backgrounds. When a patient leaves their appointment with a relaxed smile that is healthy and beautiful, it always makes my day!
Outside the Office
I am originally from Lodi, San Joaquin Valley, and truly love serving the families of my home town. With the exception of a few years living in Arizona and Ohio, college at San Luis Obispo, and dental school in San Francisco, I have lived here my entire life. My wife, Patti, and I have been married for over 20 years. We have two dogs at home, an Alaskan Malamute and a Labrador Retriever.
In my spare time, I enjoy snow skiing, hiking, SCUBA diving, motorcycle touring, and travel. I especially love the outdoors, and spending time surrounded by nature. I also am passionate about giving back to our community, and have served on the San Joaquin Dental Society Board for seven years. I also participate in the annual "Give Kids a Smile Day"!
